Merry Christmas!
Is Christmas really already here? I’m still in shock that October and November have passed! How are we already less than 2 weeks away from Christmas?!
My oh my,… I do not know. But, what I do know is that I at least accomplished one large feat… getting our Christmas cards put together and sent out.
Each year, we mainly send out cards to those we aren’t able to see as regularly; mostly East Coast family and friends,….
For the past few years I’ve done the whole “go to Target and buy a box of cards that can have pictures inserted in them” thing, but not this year. No, I decided to make things much more complicated and make my own cards. I should right?! After all, I amdesigning invitations and stationary now,… it would just seem WRONG to go to Target now that I know how to make such simple cards on my own. Although, I’m not going to lie, the temptation was definitely there…
But, I didn’t let the ease of Target being just a few miles away have a hold on me! I perservered and was very happy with the outcome. And, you know what? Making my own Christmas cards didn’t really end up being all that difficult in the end,..maybe it did take a bit more time, but I it was worth it.
I have to be honest, though, and say that I’m happy they are no longer in my home. They’re done, finished, out of my mind, gone. Ahh,….what a wonderful feeling that is.
